I was on twitter the other day and I’m following @goutsolutions and they tweeted that B Complex and Vitamin E are good at controlling gout. So I went to the Walgreen’s today and got both. I have taken both and we’ll see what the results are. But hell it can’t hurt. I had an attack the other day and the nasty drugs I have to take to get rid of it. I’m all for taking vitamins. But, DAMN vitamins are expensive. Walgreen’s had buy one get one free and also the Walmart has them a bit cheaper. I”ll keep you updated on the progress and how this works. I hope it does some good.

I haven’t blogged I”ve been building my underwear empire. I have had fun and I hope the blogging and twitter/social media will pay off for me soon! I’ll keep you posted on the job front. So far nothing. Looks like I’ll be a fabulous temp soon! OH JOY!

Today I’m not really in the mood to do anything. I’m still on the verge of starting my own consulting service for social media for small to midsized businesses. But so far there is nothing on the employment front. It’s picking up but not to where I want it to be.

I guess the countless months of being home are wearing on me. I really want to be back to work but nothing to go to yet. I have been working on the underwear blog and hope that will give me some much needed income. I need to grow the visitors. We have decent content, post often and have a podcast so you think we’d have more people. And then my Airport

Base station is still giving me fits. I went to the Apple snack store to exchange it but it’s working better but the wireless is really slow. So I think there maybe something going on with the computer. I’m not sure but I have another appointment with the Genius Bar tomorrow to check it all out. Its’ just annoying me and the wireless is VERY slow. But they are very friendly.

I’m going to take a nap I think. It’s one of those days.

This guy I knew from Straight College Men and now he has his own site. I think he’s super hot and had to share! I will post more later!

I am loving iWork 09. I downloaded the 30 day trial and its so much easier to use then Office for things. such as formatting, the way it looks and ease of use. I still have Office, but I think it would be great to know both. I think iWork will definitely catch on for more Mac users. Its just very simplistic and intuitive.

If you’re not familiar with iWork, it consists of Pages, Numbers and Keynote. Pages is the word processing program. Which has a ton of templates that are easier to use then the Word templates. Those annoy me and really hard to follow. Numbers is the spread sheet, which is amazing you can make two tables on the same page with different column widths! I haven’t tried the formulas yet but we’ll see. Lastly, is Keynote, its the presentation software, and from what I’ve seen it’s cleaner and more polished then PowerPoint.

I”m still playing with all of them. I will update you as I do more with them. But if you’re on a Mac download the 30 day trail and try them!

The new iPhone G3S comes out in just about two weeks. And they have really added some great features. The features include:

• MMS messages
• Better camera and auto focus
• Video capabilities
• Ability to edit video on the phone
• Opens applications and web pages faster, 2x faster they say
• Voice Control – which reminds me of Synch in cars, you can dial and play music with voice commands
• Electronic compass – but i”m not sure why you need one, but hey never know when you’ll get lost and need to go north
• Spotlight Search that finds anything on your iPhone

Which makes it a great new phone, that usually seems to be one step ahead of the competition. The new Palm phone came out last week and I think in the next few years there will only be smart phones. The price is $199 for 16 GB and $299 for 32 GB phones. I want one but have to get a job first!

The new OS is going to be released in September. And at the incredibly low price of $29. I was amazed it will be that cheap. This will be also the end of the Power PC chip updates. So, luckily I just got an Intel Mac and can get this. The benefits of Snow Leopard are :

• The Finder has been totally rewritten takes advantage of 64 bit technology
• Stacks and Expose have new features
• Time Machine will be faster, under the G4 iBook it took forever but now on the MacBook it’s not noticeable. But faster is always good
• Faster wake up, shut down and sleep
• The Installation will be 45% faster the previous OS upgrades, and Leopard took over an hour or so to install.
• Smaller foot print, the OS will take up less space, they said you should gain on average 6 GB of extra hard drive space.
• New Quicktime, The Quicktime X will be the same across the board and be kind of an iMovie Light.
• Chinese charater input, which I”m not sure why you’d need it but hey it’s there
• More reliable high resolution chat in iChat
• Better Safari, which is faster
• Easier Eject which is awesome i have a few external hard drives and this will make it easier to eject
• Exhcange Server integration, which is great and you can take your mac to work and not have issues.

I think so far I am impressed with both of these and want them NOW. Now I just have to get a job to get all this and hopefully that time will come.
